Class Offerings for Parents
People Empowering People (PEP) Seminar. Would you like to feel more
connected to school, neighborhood and community? Would you like to PEP
sessions run every Thursday from Feb. 28 to May 16 from 5:30-7:30pm at
Windham High School. Each PEP session includes a light dinner, class prep
material, child care and a nationally recognized curriculum. Current PEP participants
work on community projects such as a making a GED class available
during the day and collecting school uniforms at the end of the semester to
wash and make available for parents in need. Contact Maria Nazario at

Common Sense Parenting Class. Parents/guardians will learn to build strong,
healthy relationships, communicate effectively, minimize problems that disrupt family life, balance discipline with affection, and correct and modify challenging behavior. Classes start Wednesday March 6th, 2:30 to 4:30 pm at Windham High School. Contact Normaliz Acosta at 860-465-2472 or for more information.
